Making It Make Sense
I am skilled at identifying need and then creating what is absent. The skillset I have evolved is fueled by a tenacious desire for things to be understandable; be accurate; be better. Flexibility is just as important to improvement; the changes that come with growth, time, and new information means consistently adapting and updating to ensure accuracy.
A Journey
I have the unique ability to see both the destination and each footstep it will take to get there. If the map is inadequate, I draw a better one. If the directions are poor, I rewrite them. If someone forgot to book a hotel, let’s find a hostel. In practice, this means I am able to keep the big-picture goals in mind while identifying the minutia needed to make it happen.
The Meaning of It All
All my work is influenced by a human-centered, trauma-informed lens, a background in Gender and Women’s Studies, and advocacy supporting those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Specific considerations for these populations can be seen throughout the work presented on this site.
